Our natural-looking rustic cement planters have a distressed and aged look, perfect for any country or farmhouse style of interior decor. Cement and concrete planters are not quite the same thing, as concrete contains cement, but cement does not contain concrete… but many people interchange the two terms. Most of our pots and vases can be used both indoors and outdoors – please check on the individual product page for details – although we suggest they are brought inside or covered during the winter season or during heavy frost. Make a feature of your succulents, cacti and evergreen plants, or use them as a decorative container for kitchen utensils, wrapping paper or craft supplies. Please note: Cement is a natural material that can be quite alkaline, so as water absorbs into the walls of the planter, it can leach into the soil and stunt the plant’s growth. Please check the type of plant you’re intending to house in these pots does not prefer very acidic soil (you can buy soil test kits online) or use an inner plant pot liner to be on the safe side.
